The girls just lost to Duquesne 75 to 99, now that has been a four game losing streak for the bonnies. If you know St. Bonaventure’s women basketball team you should know that they have some talent, But why isn’t this talent being shown in games? A big reason is there head coach Jesse Fleming and that is what I will be talking about today. I have attended almost every single Saint Bonaventure women’s basketball home games. Every time I see Jessie Fleming there he is barely ever saying good job to his players unless they are getting beat down on the scoreboard. Which that is an issue, when there was 15 minutes before the Duquesne game started jess she was in the stands talking to people. I am not sure who these people were or how important they were but no coach with a struggling team should be talking to people in the stands before a big game. Jesse also is a coach who uses profanity when they are not doing how Jesse wants them to. when you are a coach and your team is not rising to your expectations you need to figure out what they are doing wrong and improvise, but every game that I have been to there has been so many issues that from A fans view theydo not look like they are going to be resolved anytime. Also by going tomany home games many home games you can tell that the players are not too fond of Jesse. To have a good team you need a good coach and I wouldn’t call the coach who coaches like he should only when he is losing on the scoreboard and is always screaming at officials and players and never truly focuses on his team. In my opinion I do not think Jesse family will be around next season.
